Geraldine Coffey celebrates Women in Trade Day (Worldwide) holding her portable microphone.

Helping people to overcome phobias, anxiety and pain

WITD: Briefly tell us about your tool, how important it is. Why and when you use it?

Geraldine: My favourite tool is my portable microphone.

WITD: How has it changed your life/work?

Geraldine: It comes with me everywhere and gives me the flexibility to support my clients even if I am on the move, which I so often am dividing my time between Brighton, my base & London where I care for my elderly father.  As so much of my work is online I need to ensure my sessions are delivered with clarity to provide effective & powerful empathetic communication.

It means I can help my clients better understand themselves, to make positive changes, to relieve anxieties and phobias, manage pain, improve sleep, change habits and improve confidence and self esteem.

WITD: Briefly tell us why Women in Trade Day (Worldwide) on June 15th, 2022, is important to you?

Geraldine: Women in Trade Day is an inspiring, gender safe space to nurture, share and impart knowledge. The importance of role models cannot be understated, sharing our experiences & resources can help bring about a holistic response to a shift in mindsets to help more women realise their potential whilst continuing to challenge the status quo, biases & social norms about the types of jobs that women can have so they can think about their futures with confidence.

WITD: How will you be celebrating the day?

Geraldine: I'll be helping people through positive changes with therapy.

WITD: How are you inspiring other women?

Geraldine: By helping them overcome their anxieties.
